What's PM & PM2.5?

Such as dust and ash, which are less than or equal to 10 μm in diameter, are called suspended particulates (PM), while PM2.5 (fine suspended particles) is smaller, less than or equal to 2.5 μm. Diesel vehicles burn more sulfur and nitrogen oxides (SOx and NOx), which are more serious than gasoline vehicles, and cause damage to the human respiratory system and lungs. This is why modern diesel vehicles must be equipped with DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) to filter these material.
