Why Engine Carbon Deposit?

I. Combustion carbon deposit

Main reason is that fuel and the lubricating oil entering the combustion chamber not be completely burned when the oxygen supply is insufficient, the particles of the soot and the lubricating oil are burned, and the high temperature caused by the combustion and the temperature of the cylinder wall are low. After the contact, things not burned completely will changed into a mixture such as colloid to cause carbon deposition.

II. Intake carbon deposit

The petrol and diesel engines both use EGR exhaust gas recirculation devices to recycling the exhaust gases into the intake system to reduce the formation of NOx (nitrogen oxides). However, because the oil and gas in the crankcase is mostly the vapor of the oil, the viscosity of the oil and gas, the throttle valve, EGR valve body, and intake manifold are easy to deposit carbon, while diesel vehicles have a higher combustion temperature and pressure, so the phenomenon of carbon deposition and NOx exhaust will be more serious than gasoline.
